The Bears announced Thursday at 3:01 p.m. ET that they hired Ryan Pace as their new general manager. At 4:02 p.m. ET, someone created a Wikipedia page for him.

Here's what it looked like in its original form.

Thirteen minutes later, after someone removed the second sentence, the entire entry read, "Ryan Pace is the General Manager for the Chicago Bears."

Shortly thereafter, someone filled in some information about Pace's career from the Bears' press release. Other edits, however, were not so helpful. Some jokester added an information box saying Pace went to Saint Louis School in Honolulu and attended the University of Oregon from 2011 to the present.

That isn't Pace's education history, it's Marcus Mariota's. Bears fans really want a new quarterback.
