Every 30 days, SI names a High School Athlete of the Month. The award acknowledges "not only students’ athletic achievements, but also the sort of exceptional character traits -- perseverance, integrity, academic success, selflessness and sportsmanship -- that make them leaders on the field, in the classroom and throughout their communities." Not sure if Jamie Guerra qualifies for this award but I'm naming him Hot Clicks Student of the Month after he successfully launched a Twitter campaign to get Nik Stauskus' girlfriend, Tay Anderson (pictured above), to go with him to prom.

A day afterRex Ryan showed off his "Welcome Rex" pizza (the frosting is actually dyed ricotta cheese, FYI), a bakery in Milwaukee unveiled a vanilla-flavored, green-and gold French cookie called the "Packeron." Not to be outdone, Giordano’s in Chicago will be offering up Cubs specialty pizzas during the team’s annual fan convention, complete with the team's logo as a centerpiece.
