Gregg Popovich drops some isosceles knowledge in pregame presser

Spurs coach Gregg Popovich is known for giving memorable answers in press conferences on occasion, but usually he isn't informative as he was Sunday.

Spurs coach Gregg Popovich is known for giving memorable answers in press conferences on occasion, usually of the crusty variety.

But it isn't often that Popovich drops some knowledge like he did in a presser before Sunday's game against the Jazz.

We're going to venture a guess that Popovich knows at least a few more things than this bit of isosceles minutiae, but it's interesting that this is what Pop went with when asked if he knew "anything at all." Perhaps a very thickly-veiled shot at the Knicks and their laughable triangle offense?

It should also be noted that Popovich saying he hasn't scouted the Jazz isn't a surprise at all. The coach is on record as saying he doesn't watch film of opposing teams, leaving those duties to his assistants.
