Adrian Peterson is enjoying his offseason in his home state of Texas, and he decided to stop in to see comedian Kevin Hart perform in Austin on Thursday night. Somehow the two decided they should race in the middle of the street.

Adrian Peterson is enjoying the offseason in his home state of Texas, and decided to stop in to see comedian Kevin Hart perform in Austin on Thursday night. Somehow this led to the two deciding they should race in the middle of the street.

Luckily for us, the footrace between the 2012 NFL MVP and the five-foot-four-inch comedian was caught on tape.

While Peterson wins the race, Hart manages to put up a pretty respectable showing, and if Peterson follows through on his promise of a 10-yard head start for the comedian, Hart might just have a shot next time.
