Adidas' Derrick Rose D Rose 5 Brendas coming this week

The latest version of Derrick Rose's signature adidas shoe will be released on Thursday, and the shoes are once again an homage to his mother, Brenda Rose. The Brenda edition of the D Rose 5 is very red, but the shoes have subtle detail to make them very appealing. 

On the shoe, you can see texture and stars that honor Chicago, where Rose was raised by his mother. 

The shoe also features "Brenda" written in cursive along the toe.

Rose has always made known his appreciation of his mother, especially when he accepted the NBA MVP award for the 2010-11 season. 

“You’re my heart... the reason that I play the way that I play. Just everything,” Rose said. “My days shouldn’t be hard because I love doing what I’m doing and that’s playing basketball. So, you keep me going every day, and I love you, and I appreciate you being in my life.”
