Freddy Adu really wants you to know he is not a nightclub owner
Freddy Adu has been a man on a mission over the last week, and that mission has been to spread the word that he is not a nightclub owner or promoter.
The trouble all started with an article from Complex UK that claimed the 25-year-old Adu had given up on a soccer career to become a nightclub promoter:
The former USMNT striker found out about the tweets and tried to clarify that he had simply hosted a party:

Later that day he reiterated that the report was incorrect:
Two tweets in a matter of hours seems like enough to clear up any misunderstandings, yes? Not for Adu:
The next day the question of whether or not Adu is a nightclub promoter still lingered for some, so Freddy got back to work:

After a weekend full of tweeting denials, Adu still did not seem satisfied so he issued another on Monday morning:
OK then, case closed. Freddy Adu is not a nightclub owner or promoter.
