Cardinals fan on field eludes security, somersaults across home plate

During Monday's game against the Chicago Cubs, a St. Louis Cardinals fan ran on the field and made it all the way to home plate.

Television broadcasts never show fans running on the field because it will get you arrested and they don't want to encourage stupid behavior. Luckily, in the age of the smartphone, fans in the stands can capture that stupid behavior. 

During Monday's Cubs-Cardinals game at Busch Stadium, multiple fans invaded the field, but one did it with incredible style. He entered the field along the rightfield line, dashed toward the infield and ran straight through five security personnel before rolling across home plate and being tackled by security. His final flourish elicited a loud roar from the fans.

It's a shame he probably spent the rest of the game in a holding cell. The Cardinals won a 10–9 thriller.
