Pippen responded by pointing out that Shaq is dealing in hypotheticals, while in the real world he and Michael Jordan won six championships together, while O’Neal won just three while in a Lakers uniform.

The Inside the NBA analyst took Pippen's riposte as declaration of war and started firing off hasty Photoshops and the back and forth only escalated from there, with Pippen mentioning Shaq’s free throw troubles, and the big man posting a clip of the Lakers defeating a Pippen-led Trail Blazers team in the 2000 playoffs.

Horace Grant, who played with both Pippen and Shaq, stepped in to try to broker a peace agreement between the two.

Pippen then threw down the gauntlet by sharing a photo of his six championship rings, which is two more than Shaq has.

But Shaq had an answer.
