No. Please. Not Again.

I was in Target with the wife last weekend when Bruno Mars's Uptown Funk came on. I made the "Have you ever heard this song before?" joke and she rolled her eyes. A few minutes later, Beyonce's Single Ladies came on and the whole store broke out in dance. Okay, maybe that last part isn't true, but Beyonce would be a great choice as the first singer to play the Super Bowl Halftime Show twice. So would Bruce Springsteen, Prince, Paul McCartney or U2. But the NFL seems intent on booking Bruno Mars, who played the halftime show just two years ago, for this year's show. Think I'll be tuning to Puppy Bowl 12 this year. And while we're on the subject, here's a refresher of the 10 best halftime performances in Super Bowl history.

This list kind of fell apart for me after No. 5. How do you rank Dr. Oz and Laila Ali above Emily Ratajkowski? Have you not seen her swimsuit photos?

One Way to Spend $75 Million

A family living in the United Arab Emirates dropped $75 million on a six-foot birthday cake that contains 4,000 real diamonds. Whatever. I'd take a Mrs. Fields cookie cake over that monstrosity any day of the week.

My Hero
