Hornets arena security don't recognize Hornets G Jeremy Lin

Jeremy Lin had a tough time going to work Saturday.

Charlotte Hornets guard Jeremy Lin was briefly an international sensation.

You remember Linsanity. Since then, Lin has played alongside Houston Rockets star James Harden, and in Los Angeles with living legend Kobe Bryant.

All of this to say, Lin is a pretty visible if not spectacular NBA player. But that isn't helping him in Charlotte.

Lin went to the Hornets arena for the first time Saturday, and arena security didn't believe Lin when he said he played for the team.

In the security's defense, did you watch any Hornets or Lakers game last season? Those teams were pretty bad. 

Hopefully Lin makes into the gym in time for the upcoming season.
