Two Hawaii guards run into each other, but then atone for their mistake.

It's hard enough to beat the No. 1 team in the country when you're at your best.

Hawaii, taking on top-ranked Ohio State, was not at its best—at least for this play—during Saturday's game against the Buckeyes.

On what was seemingly a simple run play, Hawaii's guards both pulled to block, and ran into each other instead of upfield in front of their running back.

In the guards’ defense, they quickly realized their mistake, and formed an impormptu wedge to knock down an Ohio State defender.
