It’s a rat. Carrying a piece of pizza.

Remember when internet memes were clean, wholesome fun? Like the llama chase and that stupid dress? Pizza Rat is here to change that.

Look, you're just as likely to see rodents and pizza on a New York subway platform as you are to see passengers waiting for a train. But a rat carrying a slice of pizza down the stairs? That’s the kind of thing that will quickly become the only thing on Twitter anyone wants to talk about.
