Watch: Ray Lewis got caught texting live on ESPN

ESPN analyst Ray Lewis might want to wait until he’s off the air to check his phone.

It’s not uncommon to see ESPN’s Adam Schefter working the phones live on the air, trying to get the latest information from his sources. With all due respect to Ray Lewis, he’s not exactly Schefter. So what was he doing during Monday Night Countdown?

The look Lewis has on his face when he puts the phone down is the same as a high schooler getting caught in class. He definitely wasn’t supposed to be doing that. 

Overall, it was a pretty rough show for Ray. He tried to make a play on words while giving his game pick but instead invented a new nonsensical phrase.
