Tim Tebow may not have been able to grab a spot on the Eagles roster, but that has not dulled any of the former quarterback’s star power, especially to the young Florida fan he visited in the hospital recently.

Nathaniel Nelson, 13, is a Gators superfan battling cancer and got a very special visit at Wolfson Children’s Hospital in Jacksonville recently.

So AWESOME to watch Tim Tebow surprise our new friend Nathaniel at Wolfson Children's Hospital! What an incredible young man!

Nelson’s battle with cancer first drew attention after it was spotlighted on First Coast News last week, as part of a segment on Childhood Cancer Awareness month, which runs through September.
