WWE teases Patriots fans over coin flip during Divas match
Patriots fans hoping to tune in to WWE’s Monday Night Raw to escape from replaying the team’s ill-fated coin flip decision in the heads were out of luck, as the pro wrestling show took a dig at New England during a Divas match.
The show was at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center which did not stop Sasha Banks from repping her Patriots fandom as she prepared to take on Becky Lynch, which led to announcers John Bradshaw Layfield and Michael Cole poking some fun at the reigning Super Bowl champs.

While the Patriots decision to begin overtime by giving the ball to New York cost them a chance to win the game, Banks did not suffer the same fate as her favorite team, defeating Lynch in the match.
