Carmelo Anthony makes young fan’s day with fist bump

Knicks star and watch enthusiast Carmelo Anthony took a moment while waiting to check into the Knicks game against the Pistons on Tuesday night to make a young fan’s day. The New York forward saw a small fan in a knick jersey behing the scorer’s table and gave him a fist bump which got exactly the reaction you would expect.

Anthony has a habit of reaching out to kids both on and off the court attempting to set the high five world record at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Sports Awards earlier this year, and winning the NBA Cares Community Assist Award in November for his work with Feed the Children.

Not all kids benefit from run-ins with the All-Star though, as Page Six recently reported one youngster needed multiple booster seats at a Broadway show after catching the bad break of being seated behind the 6'8" Anthony.
