Back in 2011, Matt Flynn parlayed one crazy game for the Packers into a three-year, $20.5 million contract with the Seahawks. Then Seattle drafted Russell Wilson.
Flynn ended up throwing nine passes in Seattle before he got traded to the Raiders.
Speaking of quarterbacks with limited starting experience signing large free-agent contracts, Brock Osweiler reportedly agreed to four-year, $72 million deal with the Texans.
Matt Flynn, your thoughts?
Wow I know I'm going to get killed for this and I don't have a lot of room to talk, but this latest QB contract is unbelievable........ 😮— Matt Flynn (@mflynn3) March 9, 2016
The deal included $9 million guaranteed, so he’s doing alright for himself.
