A Massachusetts resident is hoping to get rich with a seven-year-old Jeff Gordon Pop-Tart.

The “limited edition” toaster pastry went up for sale last month but flew under the radar until going viral this week due to its outlandish price tag. The seller is unhappy they’re being mocked online for trying to sell a breakfast item for the price of a used car. How unhappy are they? They’ve written nearly 1,300 words about the Pop-Tart and the internet reaction to the $10,000 price tag.

I have seen more bloggers writing about my auction and I continue to read good, bad, eye rolling and funny comments from all kinds of people - Dumb. Stupid. Ridiculous. Awesome. Hilarous. Sad. Pathetic. Outrageous. Creative. I can roll with all of those comments.

It's a Pop Tart. What did I expect? A red carpet with a checkered flag at the end? NOT!

The BIGGER question is what's more of a big deal - me trying to sell a Jeff Gordon Pop Tart for $10 grand OR the person who might/may/could (will ... I'm an optimist LOL) ultimately spring for the 10 grand ?  I mean c'mon - burnt, 10-year old grilled cheese vs. a perfectly preserved JG pop tart LOL. This is a steal at 10 grand LOL LOL ....

Please read the seller’s whole description. It’s art. And it contains many valuable life lessons about following your dreams.
