Are the Flyers giving away more LED wristbands after what happened against the Capitals in Game 3?

The souvenirs, intended as part of a pregame lights show, wound up utilized as projectiles by angry Philly fans during Washington’s eventual 6–1 victory, as fans chucked them onto the ice after Flyers winger Pierre-Edouard Bellemare was tossed for a hit on Caps defender Dmitry Orlov. The fans actually drew a delay of game penalty. It was ugly.

And while throwing stuff on the ice is a hockey tradition of sorts, the Flyers made a statement apologizing.

But to get back to the point...it sure looks like there are more on the horizon. They planned to give away more wristbands, and apparently scrapped that.

We do have visual confirmation that there was indeed once a plan to do so. No more.

The Rangers, however, are giving them out at their game on Tuesday.
