The guy who played one of Draco Malfoy’s goons in the Harry Potter films has found a new hobby: combat sports.
Josh Herdman, who played Slytherin tough guy Gregory Goyle in all eight of the films, made his amateur MMA debut on Saturday in London. He won, beating a Polish guy named Janusz Walachowski in a three-round unanimous decision.

The 28-year-old said it’s not exactly a career change—he still auditions for roles, but acting full-time is “just a little bit like playing the lottery for a living,” he told the Daily Mirror.
He certainly doesn’t look like the chubby kid from the early movies anymore.
