Fox’s new show Pitch will tell the story of the MLB’s first female player/
Fox is premiering a new drama telling the story of the MLB’s first female pitcher called Pitch, and the trailer for the show has hit the internet after the network’s advertiser upfronts.

The series will focus on Ginny Baker who gets called up to the San Diego Padres where she tries to navigate the difficult terrain of breaking the MLB’s gender barrier, including trouble from some of her own teammates.
The show is slated to premiere mid-season next year for Fox, which also announced it will be launching its new reboot of the action drama 24, dubbed 24:Legacy,in the much coveted post-Super Bowl spot come February.
