Kevin Love and Klay Thompson are on opposite sides of the NBA Finals for the second season in a row, but the pair were once teammates on the same Little League squad.

The Lake Oswego Lakers of 2001 had both future All-Stars on their roster, and while we cannot attest to the team’s prowess on the diamond, it almost certainly would have blown all the competition away on the basketball court.

Kevin Love, who apparently was never not gigantic, is in the back row, while Thompson is in the front left of the photo, according to Larry Brown Sports.

The two also faced off a few times in their baseball careers, and the Warriors guard sent a message to the Cavaliers forward in their first duel.

This is probably the most impressive Little League paring since it was discovered Clayton Kershaw and Matthew Stafford played together growing up.
