Joel Embiid says he drinks ‘three or four’ pitchers of Shirley Temple daily

Joel Embiid loves Shirley Temples. A lot, apparently.
Embiid, has been panned for being out of shape over the past couple of years as he battled injuries. Reports indicated he ate a lot of junk food and that his preferred sugary vice was the Shirley Temple, the non-alcoholic beverage popular among the seven-year-old community, made with ginger ale and “a splash of grenadine.”
In a new Ride Along video with Vice Sports, Embiid owned up. He loves Shirley Temples. He drinks three or four pitchers daily, he says, although it’s possible this is all tongue in cheek, for sure.
Anyway, decide for yourself. We’re pulling for Embiid, who’s got a great sense of humor and doesn’t take himself too seriously. Check out the video below.
