Taco-loving team offers hats inspired by Trump supporter’s taco truck warning

When a Donald Trump supporter warned last week that a lack of immigration control would lead to “taco trucks on every corner,” it had the opposite of its intended effect.
Marco Gutierrez, a Mexican immigrant, meant it to be ominous but it actually sounds wonderful, especially to the Fresno Grizzlies.
The Grizzlies have been holding taco-themed promotions for years now and took the extra step this year of wearing special taco jerseys for every Tuesday home game.
So when Gutierrez gave his dire warning, the Grizzlies saw a marketing opportunity.

There really are taco trucks on every corner when the Grizzlies host their annual “Taco Truck Throwdown.”
