Disband Rice's Band

Baylor's visit to Rice on Friday night was far more eventful than anyone expected, but for all the wrong reasons. Art Briles was spotted in the stands, attending what is believed to be his first game since getting fired in May, and the Owls' marching band mocked Baylor for their sexual assault scandal. On the Bears' sideline, their kicker was not amused by his teammate's comments after he missed two field goals, starting a mini scuffle.

CFB Uniform Roundup

Memphis is wearing cool 'Memphis State' helmets against Kansas on Saturday and Louisville's dazzling red chrome helmets include a Muhammad Ali tribute. Also, Arizona is honoring the U.S.S. Arizona with their uniforms against Hawai'i and LSU will wear Gridiron Gold digs against Mississippi State. And Army is honoring their fallen teammate, Brandon Jackson:

National Anthem protests and statements continue to dominate the football season. On Friday night, an entire Seattle high school team knelt down during the National Anthem, and the Philadelphia Eagles are planning a protest before Sunday's game.
