Orioles give retiring David Ortiz the dugout phone he smashed three years ago

Although the Red Sox and Orioles are playing a pivotal series in Baltimore this week, the hosts found a good time to gift retiring Boston slugger David Ortiz a spectacular gift.
A dugout phone.

This one.
Who could forget David Ortiz’s most destructive hit at Oriole Park? Our visiting dugout phone! pic.twitter.com/mGSTHEOuYE

The one he smashed in 2013, memorably.
And now THE PHONE incident is being shown with Ortiz crushing it with a bat. He doesn't look amused

What a cool gift! Adam Jones presented it to Papi on the field before Thursday’s game.
The Orioles also donated $10,000 to the World Pediatric Project to help sick kids in the Dominican Republic, so that’s better.
One of @davidortiz's closest friends presented him with the very same phone he destroyed 3 years ago! ☎#ThanksPapi pic.twitter.com/WzWZmgclw1

Ortiz jogs off without the phone. Jones holding it up like, 'what? You forgot this'

We will miss him. The rival Orioles may not, honestly.
