Marlins Man (real name Laurence Leavy) will not attend Game 7 of the World Series due to safety fears, according to ESPN's Darren Rovell.

It will be the first World Series that Leavy has missed in the last five years. He has adopted the nickname Marlins Man due to the orange Miami Marlins jersey and visor that he wears to every sporting event.

Earlier in the postseason, he lashed out against Indians fans calling them “derogatory, bigoted, rude and vulgar” on Twitter. The Marlins defeated the Indians in Game 7 of the 1997 World Series.

Many assume that Leavy missed Games 3, 4 and 5 due to the high prices of tickets at Wrigley Field.
