Warriors’ Harrison Barnes (ankle) set to return Monday
Golden State Warriors forward Harrison Barnes, who’s been nursing a sprained ankle and bone bruise, is set to return on Monday against the Hornets.
“I plan to play,” Barnes told reporters. “I’m feeling good. It’s been a long recovery process. Glad to finally be back on the court and playing on a game day.”
The 23-year-old has not played since sustaining the injury in a win over the Suns on Nov. 22.
The team is currently dealing with a slew of injuries; Stephen Curry is questionable with a shin contusion that has kept him out of two of the team’s past three games, and Leandro Barbosa and Festus Ezeli have also missed time due to different ailments.
