The Seattle Seahawks will make quarterback Russell Wilson the highest-paid at his position this offseason, NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports.

Wilson is currently playing on his rookie contract, which does not expire until the end of next season. He made a base salary of $662,434 this season.

Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers currently has the biggest contract for a quarterback in the NFL. He signed a five-year, $110 million contract extension in April 2013.

This season, Wilson has completed 63.1 percent of his passes for 3,475 yards, and 20 touchdowns. He has also thrown for seven interceptions.

Wilson was selected by the Seahawks in the third round in the 2012 NFL draft. He has started every game the last three seasons.

The Seahawks, who have the No. 1 seed in the NFC, play the Carolina Panthers on Saturday at 8:05 p.m. ET.
