According to NFL.com, the 50-yard line at every NFL stadium will be painted gold this season as part of the league’s “On the Fifty” celebration.

The league has already said it would ditch the standard roman numerals it has used for most of the other Super Bowls, opting to call next year's game Super Bowl 50, instead.

The roman numerals will return for Super Bowl LI in 2017, to be played at NRG Stadium in Houston.

The NFL also unveiled the 2016 Pro Bowl uniforms, which will have touches of gold.

The Pro Bowl will return to Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii after being played at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Ariz., the site of Super Bowl XLIX, this year. It will be the seventh year in a row that the game will be played a week before the Super Bowl.
