Former Redskins kicker Kai Forbath is set to try out for the Pittsburgh Steelers after Josh Scobee missed two crucial fourth quarter field goals in a 23–20 loss to the Ravens on Thursday, reports JP Finlay of CSN Mid-Atlantic.

Forbath, 28, signed with Washington five weeks into the 2012 season. In 41 games with the Redskins, the kicker had a field goal completion percentage of 87, his best season coming in 2012 with a 94% completion rate.

He played in just one game this season before the Redskins released him on Sept. 14. During that game, Forbath missed one field goal and the Redskins lost 17–10 to the Dolphins.
