The Philadelphia 76ers continue their push for the six seed when they visit the Washington Wizards on Wednesday night.

Philadelphia started its road trip with a win in Charlotte before falling in Miami on Monday night. Meanwhile, Washington is back to its losing ways with three straight losses after an upset win in Utah.

The 76ers won the first three meetings this season, including 131-110 most recently in January.

The oddsmakers have the Wizards as big home underdogs at the best betting sites on
Wednesday night.

Let’s take a look at the odds, a player prop, and my prediction for Wednesday night’s NBA matchup.

76ers vs. Wizards Best NBA Prop Bets

76ers Best NBA Prop Bet

  • Tyrese Maxey UNDER 36.5 Points + Assists (-115)

Tyrese Maxey is available for his third game back from a finger injury, and while he’s put up solid numbers in his first two games, there’s no need for the 76ers to push it tonight in Washington.

Maxey had 26 points and 6 assists in Charlotte and then 23 points and nine assists in Miami. He’s now gone UNDER 36.5 points + assists in five straight games and 56% of his games this season.

76ers vs. Wizards Prediction and Pick

The Wizards will be playing their third game in four nights after losing by 35 in Portland and 19 to the Lakers. They failed to cover the spread in those losses, and I think that continues tonight.

Even without Joel Embiid, the 76ers are good enough to take it to the Wizards. They covered -16.5 and -13 in the last two meetings, and while they were at home, I think they can do it again here as they look to avoid the play-in tournament.

Pick: 76ers -13.5 (-112)
