Daily Dinger: Best MLB Home Run Prop Bet Picks Today (Target Pete Crow-Armstrong, Joc Pederson, Tigers Slugger)

All 30 MLB teams are in action on Tuesday night, giving us plenty of opportunities to bet on some home run props.

Monday’s Daily Dinger picks didn’t go to plan, as Pete Alonso, Corey Seager and Wilyer Abreu all failed to leave the yard.

That’s the challenge with home run bets, as there may be a favorable matchup or a hot hitter to target, but the act of actually hitting the home run is a lot harder than making the prediction. So, the one benefit is that we get some pretty favorable odds when it comes to these props each night.

On Tuesday, I’m targeting NL MVP favorite Pete Crow-Armstrong as one of three players in this edition of Daily Dinger. PCA has a great matchup against the Washington Nationals as he looks to hold off Shohei Ohtani for the NL’s most prestigious award.

Let’s jump right into a breakdown of that prop and more, equipped with the latest odds from the best betting sites.

Pete Crow-Armstrong to Hit a Home Run (+332)

Crow-Armstrong has 26 home runs in the 2026 season, and he enters Tuesday’s game with a .360 batting average and a pair of home runs in his last six games. PCA has an OPS of .931 this season, and he’s hit 19 of his 26 homers against right-handed pitching.

Still, the Chicago Cubs star has a .310 batting average and a better OPS against lefties, a sign that he’ll be a threat to go deep no matter the matchup.

On Tuesday’s PCA gets to face Washington Nationals right-hander Jake Irvin, who allowed the most home runs in MLB in 2025. This season, an injury has limited Irvin to just 13 appearances, but he’s allowed 10 homers while posting a 5.37 ERA.

The righty has given up three homers in his two outings since coming off the injured list, and the Washington bullpen (4.84 ERA) has allowed more home runs (79) than any other team in the league.

Plus, Crow-Armstrong is 3-for-9 with a double, a homer and five runs batted in against Irvin in his career. I love this matchup for the Cubs star as he looks to build on a strong start to the month of August.

Joc Pederson to Hit a Home Run (+239)

Texas Rangers slugger Joc Pederson basically only plays against right-handed pitching, but he is dominant in his role.

Pederson has 21 home runs in the 2026 campaign, and he’s hitting .258 with an .850 OPS and 20 homers against righties. In fact, Pederson only has 31 plate appearances against lefties in 2026.

So, I don’t mind taking him to go deep against Los Angeles Angels righty Ryan Johnson on Tuesday night.

Johnson has a 7.11 ERA this season and has given up 13 home runs in as many appearances. Over his last four weeks (19 games, 15 starts), Pederson is hitting .305 with six home runs and 10 runs batted in.

Against a struggling righty, he’s always a great bet to go deep.

Spencer Torkelson to Hit a Home Run (+402)

Detroit Tigers first baseman Spencer Torkelson is heating up in the month of August, hitting .362 in his last 11 games and .301 with four homers over his last 22 games (21 starts).

Overall, the Tigers slugger has 20 home runs this season, and I’m buying him in a favorable matchup against Cleveland Guardians right-hander Tanner Bibee.

This season, Bibee has given up 23 home runs in 24 appearances, including a three-homer game in his first start this month.

Torkelson has fared pretty well against Bibee in his career, going 4-for-14 (.286) with two doubles, a home run and an OPS of 1.087. With oddsmakers setting the former No. 1 overall pick at +402 to go deep, I think he’s a little undervalued on Tuesday night.
