Knicks vs. Grizzlies Prediction, Odds and Best NBA Prop Bets for Wednesday, April 1

In this story:
A blowout loss to the Houston Rockets on Tuesday night has set the New York Knicks back to 48-28 in the 2025-26 season, and they’re just one game up on the No. 4-seeded Cleveland Cavaliers with six games to play.
New York’s three-game losing streak (to Charlotte, OKC and Houston) prompted Josh Hart to call Wednesday night’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies a “must win.”
Josh Hart said the team is heading in the wrong direction ahead of the playoffs and called tomorrow against Memphis a “must win.”

Frustrated by some of the same stuff continuously popping up — lack of togetherness, focus, attention to detail, etc.
Well, the Knicks are in luck, because they are favored by 14.5 points on the road against a makeshift Memphis team that won’t have Ja Mornat, Zach Edey, Santi Aldama, Ty Jerome and several others.
The Grizzlies are just 2-8 in their last 10 games and they have the worst net rating (-16.0) in the NBA during that stretch.
Still, New York has struggled on the road all season long, going 20-19 straight up. Can bettors trust it to cover on Wednesday?
Here’s a look at the latest odds, a player prop to bet and my prediction for this interconference clash.

Knicks vs. Grizzlies Best NBA Prop Bets
Knicks Best NBA Prop Bet
- Jalen Brunson OVER 23.5 Points (-124)
Earlier today, I shared in my NBA Best Bets column – Peter’s Points – why Brunson could have a bounce-back showing on April 1:
New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson struggled on Tuesday night against the Houston Rockets, scoring just 12 points in a blowout loss.
However, Brunson has a favorable matchup against a Memphis Grizzlies team that he scored 32 points against earlier this season.
The Grizzlies are just 28th in the NBA in defensive rating since the All-Star break, and they are allowing over 25 points per game to opposing point guards this season. Brunson has not scored the ball as well as he did before the break, but he’s still averaging 23.8 points per game over his last 20 games, clearing 23.5 points in eight of his last 11 games.
I’m buying him to have a bounce-back showing as the Knicks aim to snap a three-game skid.
Knicks vs. Grizzlies Prediction and Pick
There’s a chance the Knicks are short-handed on the second night of a back-to-back as Mitchell Robinson has played in both ends of a back-to-back all season and Miles McBride recently returned from an injury.
The Knicks have not looked great on this road trip, and they’ve fallen to 9-17 against the spread when favored on the road. That makes them a tough team to bet on – even against this awful Grizzlies team.
Memphis has been awful since the All-Star break, but it’s still posting an average scoring margin of just -8.1 points as a home underdog.
If there is a bright side for the Grizzlies, rookie Cedric Coward and second-year guard Cam Spencer should be on the floor in this game.
New York has been really tough to trust on the road, and this recent skid against playoff teams shows why oddsmakers aren’t sold on the Knicks’ ceiling as title contenders.
I’m going to begrudgingly take the points in this matchup rather than get burned by a Knicks team that is covering in just 35.9 percent of its road games – the second-worst mark in the NBA.
Pick: Grizzlies +14.5 (-110 at DraftKings)
