Nuggets vs. Jazz Prediction, Odds and Best NBA Prop Bets for Wednesday, April 1

Can Denver cover as a massive road favorite?

The Denver Nuggets and Utah Jazz met twice in the month of March, and Denver came away with two wins to move to 3-0 against Will Hardy’s team in the 2025-26 season.

However, the Nuggets didn’t exactly win in dominant fashion, allowing 125 and 129 points in those games, winning by three and six points.

So, it’s interesting to see Denver favored by 16.5 points on the road on Wednesday night.

The Jazz are down several players in this game, including Lauri Markkanen, Keyonte George and Jaren Jackson Jr. (out for the season), but the Utah offense has clearly found some holes against Denver this season.

Meanwhile, the Nuggets have won six games in a row and are just two games out of the No. 3 seed in the West with less than two weeks left in the regular season.

Let’s dive into the odds, a player prop to bet and my prediction for this Western Conference battle on Wednesday night.

Nuggets vs. Jazz Best NBA Prop Bets

Nuggets Best NBA Prop Bet

  • Jamal Murray OVER 11.5 Rebounds and Assists (-110)

In today’s best NBA props column, I shared why Murray should stuff the stat sheet against Utah:

Denver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray is having an All-NBA caliber season, averaging 25.5 points, 4.4 rebounds and 7.2 assists per game.

I’m targeting his assists and rebounds prop on Wednesday in an easy matchup against the Utah Jazz, who have been one of the worst defensive teams in the NBA this season. Utah ranks dead last in the league in defensive rating, opponent points per game and opponent assists per game.

Murray had 14 dimes and six boards in a March 27th meeting with the Jazz, and he’s recorded 11, 10 and 20 rebounds and assists against them this season. The Nuggets star has at least 12 rebounds and assists in back-to-back games, and he should remain a focal point of the Denver offense on Wednesday.

Nuggets vs. Jazz Prediction and Pick

This game is a dream matchup for OVER bettors, as the Nuggets have the No. 1 offensive rating in the NBA while Utah is dead last in defensive rating and opponent points per game.

The Jazz have a pretty shaky offensive rating this season, but they are ninth in the NBA in points per game, averaging over 117 per night.

So, I’m rolling with the OVER even with several key players sidelined for the Jazz. Denver’s defense has struggled this season, ranking 21st in the league in defensive rating, and Utah has pushed 130 points in back-to-back games against it.

These teams have combined for 247. 253 and 264 points in their meetings this season with Denver scoring at least 128 points in every game. That gives us a pretty solid floor for an OVER bet on Wednesday.

Pick: OVER 249.5 (-105 at DraftKings)
