An interleague series finale takes place in Toronto on Wednesday, as the defending AL East champion Toronto Blue Jays host the Colorado Rockies for Game 3 of a three-game set.

Toronto dropped the series opener on Monday, allowing 14 runs, but it bounced back with a nice 5-1 win on Tuesday night.

Now, the Jays send ace Kevin Gausman (1.50 ERA) to the mound against Colorado lefty Kyle Freeland. This season, Freeland has a 4.15 ERA, but he had a 4.98 ERA in 31 outings in the 2025 campaign.

Can the Rockies pull off another upset? Oddsmakers aren’t expecting it, as the Jays are -308 to win Wednesday’s afternoon tilt.

Here’s a breakdown of the odds, a player to watch in the prop market and my prediction for this matchup.

Rockies vs. Blue Jays Best MLB Prop Bet

Blue Jays Best MLB Prop Bet

  • George Springer to Hita Home Run (+330)

In today’s Daily Dinger column – our best home run props for SI Betting – I shared why this is a favorable matchup for Springer:

Toronto Blue Jays veteran George Springer has already homered twice in the 2026 season, and he takes on a weak Colorado Rockies pitching staff on Wednesday afternoon.

Springer has fared well against today’s starter – Kyle Freeland – in his career, going 3-for-6. Freeland has allowed at least 22 homers in each of the last three seasons, though he did not give one up in his season debut against Miami.

The Rockies’ bullpen has been shaky this season, allowing four homers in five games, and Springer is coming off one of the best power seasons of his career, hitting 32 homers in 140 games. He’s a great target on Wednesday, especially since the Jays have scored 10 runs in two games so far this series.

Rockies vs. Blue Jays Prediction and Pick

The Jays may have lost the opening matchup of this series, but they returned to the status quo on Tuesday with a 5-1 win.

Toronto has taken care of business against a soft schedule so far, sweeping the A’s to open the season and now it has a chance to move to 5-1 on Wednesday.

Gausman allowed just one hit – a home run – in six frames against the A’s on Opening Day, and he should slow down a Colorado offense that is just 16th in the league in OPS despite a 14-run outburst on Monday.

Meanwhile, the Rockies went just 9-22 in Freeland’s outings last season, and their bullpen has a shaky 5.14 ERA early on in 2026.

The Jays have already won two games by two or more runs, and I think they’re worth a look to do it again with Gausman on the bump.

Pick: Blue Jays -1.5 (-136 at DraftKings)
