Rockies vs. Diamondbacks Prediction, Odds, Probable Pitchers, Prop Bets for Tuesday, Aug. 11

In this story:
The Arizona Diamondbacks are in the midst of a tight race for a wild-card berth in the National League. They're currently in a spot at 64-56, but are only one game ahead of the San Diego Padres heading into this week's action.
This week serves as a great opportunity for them to further boost their record as they take on the 46-73 Colorado Rockies in a three-game set. They already cruised past them 9-0 in the series opener on Monday night.
Let's dive into Tuesday night's NL West showdown.

Rockies vs. Diamondbacks Best MLB Prop Bet
- Tomoyuki Sugano OVER 3.5 Earned Runs Allowed (+118) via DraftKings
In today's edition of Betting $100 Every Day for a Year, I broke down why I'm betting on the Rockies' starter, Tomoyuki Sugano, to give up 4+ earned runs:
Tomoyuki Sugano is the biggest regression candidate on the mound tonight. He has a 4.47 ERA but a 5.39 FIP and a 7.22 xERA. Despite playing for the Rockies, who have the least pitcher-friendly ballpark in baseball, Sugano has a 5.13 ERA when pitching on the road this season, which is another concerning factor ahead of tonight.
Tonight, he has to face a Diamondbacks offense that's eighth in the Majors in wRC+ over the past 30 days. Let's take the plus-money bet on him to give up 4+ earned runs.
Rockies vs. Diamondbacks Prediction and Best Bet
I can echo what I wrote above about the Rockies and turn that into a bet on them to win this game by 2+ runs.
Sugano is due for some heavy regression based on his underlying numbers, and now he has to take on a hot Diamondbacks lineup. The Colorado offense hasn't been good enough to support Sugano if he gives up a few runs. They rank 25th in the Majors in wRC+ over the past 30 days.
We still have to wait and see what the Diamondbacks have in Mitch Bratt, but he has a 3.90 ERA through his first six career starts, and he has allowed just one earned run in his last 12.0 innings pitched.
Let's bet on the Diamondbacks on the run line.
