Suns vs. Kings Prediction, Odds and Best NBA Prop Bets for Tuesday, March 3

In this story:
Jordan Ott’s Phoenix Suns are in the thick of a playoff race despite a bunch of injuries, and they have a winnable game on Tuesday night against the Sacramento Kings.
Sacramento is dead last in the Western Conference standings, and it’s set as a 9.5-point underdog against the Suns, who currently hold the top play-in spot in the West.
Devin Booker (hip) has missed four games in a row for the Suns, but he’s off the injury report and expected to play in Tuesday’s matchup. Phoenix remains without Dillon Brooks (fractured hand) for the next few weeks.
The Suns still have the No. 7 spot in the Western Conference standings, but their lead isn’t safe if they aren’t able to beat a tanking team like Sacramento. The Kings are just 2-8 in their last 10 games and were blown out by the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday.
They have ruled out Zach LaVine (out for season), Keegan Murray, Domantas Sabonis (out for season) and De’Andre Hunter (out for season), leaving this team extremely thin for the rest of the regular season.
Here’s a look at the betting odds, my favorite player prop and a prediction for this divisional matchup on Tuesday night.

Suns vs. Kings Best NBA Prop Bets
Suns Best NBA Prop Bet
- Devin Booker OVER 5.5 Assists (-135)
In today’s best NBA props for SI Betting, I shared why I like Booker to clear this line in his return from a hip injury:
After missing the last four games with a hip injury, Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker is set to return against the Sacramento Kings on March 3.
This season, Booker is averaging 6.1 assists on 12.6 potential assists per game, and I think that number may rise down the stretch of the regular season with Dillon Brooks (hand) out.
Booker should have even more time on the ball for this Phoenix offense, and he did have games with nine and six assists in February before going down with his hip injury. This season, Booker has one game with six or more dimes against the Kings, who are one of the worst defenses in the NBA.
Sacramento ranks 29th in defensive rating and 26th in opponent assists per game, making this a favorable matchup for the Suns guard in his return to action. Even if Booker is on a minutes limit, I think he’ll be able to flirt with his season average in this market on Tuesday.
Suns vs. Kings Prediction and Pick
With Booker back in action, the Suns are a solid bet as road favorites as they look to complete the season sweep of the Kings.
The last time these teams played in Sacramento, Phoenix won by 12 points, and it has wins by four and 27 at home in the 2025-26 season. The Kings are short-handed in this game, and they’ve been awful against the spread all season long, posting the worst ATS record in the NBA (24-38).
As a home underdog, the Kings are just 10-14 against the spread with an average scoring margin of -9.8 in those games.
The Suns should have a much higher offensive ceiling with Booker back, and they remain in the top-10 in the league in defensive rating. I expect them to handle the Kings in this Western Conference battle.
Pick: Suns -9.5 (-115 at DraftKings)
