Korean Baseball Betting Blunder Could Cost MGM $250K

Sports and Business News: 7/7
"Pay That Man His Money?"
Two weeks ago, sports gamblers at the BetMGM Sportsbook at the Bellagio casino were able to win $250,000 on bets for Korean Baseball because of a system error on BetMGM’s sportsbook kiosks.
Now, the Nevada Gaming Control Board is stepping in and will determine if MGM has to pay out those winnings, or refund the gamblers' initial bet and void the winnings.
According to Legal Sports Report, the NGCB can void a bet if there has been “obvious computer, mechanical, technical or human error.” In this case, the human error is the fact that the start time of the game was incorrectly entered into the kiosk.
Bettors took advantage of this error by betting on an underdog that was already winning 10-2 and betting the over on total runs which was set at 9.5 when there were already five runs scored in the first inning.
DeSean Jackson Apologies Over Anti-Semitic Remarks
DeSean Jackson is trending for all the wrong reasons.
The Eagles wide receiver posted anti-Semitic remarks on his Instagram account. Jackson’s original post was a quote from Adolf Hilter saying,
"White Jews will blackmail America. [They] will extort America, their plan for world domination won't work if the Negroes know who they were.”
After receiving immense criticism, both Jackson and the Eagles have issued an apology and statement on Jackson’s post.
Jackson said, ”Anyone who feels I have hate towards the Jewish community took my post the wrong way I have no hatred in my heart towards no one. Equality. Equality.”
The Eagles took more of a hardline approach in their statement:

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter the team is now evaluating if Jackson should be cut from their roster if it is deemed his post was a default under his current contract.
Eagles decision on whether to keep DeSean Jackson could come down to whether post is a default under his contract. Jackson is guaranteed $4.8M this year in salary and already received a $2M option bonus. Eagles could try to figure out a way out of guaranteed salary first.
