Four-star forward Juwan Morgan out of Missouri committed to the Indiana Hoosiers on Wednesday, saying he based his decision on academics, player development and playing time, according to a video posted to InsideTheHall.com.

The 6-foot-9, 220-pound forward averaged 19 points and 10 rebounds as a junior last year. He said Hoosiers coach Tom Crean believes he can be a lottery pick one day.

Via InsideTheHall.com:

“Getting stronger, getting faster, things like that will be important to me,” he said. “(Coach Tom Crean) said he wants to get me into a lottery pick, because there’s a lot of things he sees on the court that I can do that I don’t do enough."

Morgan reportedly selected the program over Vanderbilt, according to college basketball reporter Jeff Borzello of CBS Sports.

He visited Bloomington, Ind., in June and was on campus last week for an official visit.
