Duke has been chosen as the preseason favorite to win the ACC in the conference media poll. UNC's Marcus Paige is the preseason ACC Player of the Year.

Duke has been tabbed as the 2014-15 preseason ACC favorite in the conference media poll, the ACC announced Wednesday

The Blue Devils received 41 first-place votes and were named preseason favorites for the second year in a row. Duke finished 26-9 last season and returns guards Quinn Cook and Rasheed Sulaimon as well as forward Amile Jefferson.

North Carolina came in second with 12 first-place votes and junior guard Marcus Paige was chosen as the preseason ACC Player of the Year. Paige averaged 17.5 points per game last season.

LouisvilleVirginia and Syracuse also received first-place votes and round out the top five, followed by PittsburghNotre DameFlorida State, NC State and Miami in the top 10, respectively. 

Duke freshman Jahlil Okafor, the No. 1 recruit in the 2014 class according to Rivals.com, was chosen as the conference's preseason Rookie of the Year.

Louisville's Montrezl Harrell, Virginia's Malcolm Brogdon, Notre Dame's Jerian Grant and Okafor join Paige on the preseason All-ACC team. 

The 2014-15 season will be Louisville's first in the ACC. It will be the conference's first season without Maryland, who is now in the Big Ten.
