Buffalo and Montana State announced that their game Friday night at Alumni Arena in Buffalo, N.Y., has been postponed.

The reason for the postponement is that Montana State is encountering "travel issues," according to a news release. Montana State's flight was reportedly canceled.

Reports suggest that a severe storm in Buffalo could dump as much as eight feet of snow around the city. The Jets-Bills game will not take place Sunday in Buffalo as scheduled.

The release indicates the schools could try to play the game at some point later this season.

Buffalo is 2-1 this season with wins over South Dakota State and UT-Arlington, while Montana State is 0-3.
