Iowa State redshirt sophomore guard Sherron Dorsey-Walker is transferring, reports ESPN's Jeff Goodman.

Dorsey is averaging 3 points and 1.3 rebounds in 13 minutes per game this season, but has not played since Dec. 2. The 6-foot-4 guard played 5.8 minutes per game last season for the Big 12 Tournament champion Cyclones, averaging 1.2 points, and scored a career-high 17 points against UMKC.

A native of Detroit, Mich., Dorsey was a three-star recruit coming out of high school and was ranked as the No. 125 player in his class by Rivals. Dorsey chose Iowa State over a host of other schools, including Baylor, Indiana, Michigan and Florida State.

There have already been more than 50 players this season who have transferred or are intending to transfer, according to Goodman.
