MSU forward Branden Dawson leaves game vs. EMU with sprained wrist

Thursday December 18th, 2014

Michigan State forward Branden Dawson left Wednesday night's game against Eastern Michigan with a sprained left wrist, the team announced.

Dawson will undergo further tests on the wrist.

The senior sustained the injury with 15:30 remaining in the second half when he fell awkwardly on his wrist after a dunk attempt. Dawson went to the locker room and later returned to the bench with his left hand wrapped in ice but did not check back into the game.

Dawson broke the same hand last season, an injury which forced him to miss nine games before he returned toward the end of February.
