Fresno State freshman Isaiah Bailey has been dismissed for violating athletic department policy, according toThe Fresno Bee.
The 6-foot-6 guard did not play in any of the Bulldogs' 12 games after suffering a wrist injury in a preseason scrimmage.
Bailey was the highest-ranked prospect in the Bulldogs' 2014 recruiting class.
He drew scholarship offers from UNLV and Oregon State, among other programs, and earned a three-star rating from Rivals.com.
“He’s a guy that we were counting on and could have helped us, but unfortunately he made a couple of bad choices that can’t be tolerated,” coach Rodney Terry said, according to the Bee.
Fresno State opens Mountain West play on Dec. 31 at New Mexico.
