Virginia is 27-1 on the season, and a possible No. 1 seed in the NCAA tournament. The team's lone loss this season was a three-point defeat to Duke on Jan. 31.

Despite the slow start, UVA scored on its last nine possessions of the half, and led Syracuse at halftime, 23-20.

UVA won the game, 59-47 to win the ACC regular season title for the second straight year. The Cavaliers play No. 16 Louisville on Saturday.
