Former Duke star and NBA player Bobby Hurley said in an interview with SI Now Tuesday he feels as if he'll be the head coach of the Buffalo Bulls next season.

Hurley was just awarded a pay raise this past week after Buffalo made it to the NCAA tournament this season for the first time in program history. It lost to West Virginia in the Round of 64.

He was considered a front-runner for the vacant DePaul University head coaching position, which was filled by Dave Leitao Sunday

"There's nothing of really anything substantial that has my interest at this point," Hurley said of other coaching vacancies.

"The players on my team realize the journey we were on, and will set their sights on doing it again next season."

Report: Bobby Hurley, Buffalo agree to new contract

When asked whether he felt he was ready to be the coach of of a big time program, Hurley maintained he was "just focusing on Buffalo right now."

If he stays at Buffalo, Hurley will be the highest paid coach in the Mid-American Conference, and lead a team returning six of its core eight players from the 2014-15 season, including MAC Player of the Year Award winner Justin Moss
