Iowa State to reportedly hire Murray State's Steve Prohm to replace Fred Hoiberg.
According to the reports, an announcement is expected on Monday.
Prohm, a two-time Ohio Valley Conference coach of the year, will replace Fred Hoiberg, who left the school after five seasons to take a head coaching position with the Chicago Bulls. Hoiberg had a 115–56 record in his tenure, as the Cyclones appeared in four NCAA tournaments.
Prohm, 40, had spent the last four seasons at Murray State, winning at least 21 games in each season.
He has a 104-29 record and has led Murray State to three Ohio Valley Conference West regular season titles and one OVC tournament championship.
