Kentucky still No. 1 in new AP Poll, shake-up at bottom

The Kentucky Wildcats are No. 1 in the latest AP Top 25 for a second straight week after wins over Boston and USF brought their record to 6–0.

Five schools entered the rankings for the first time this season; the highest of which was Syracuse, who knocked off Connecticut and Texas A&M to debut at No. 14. West Virginia, Providence, Louisville and Baylor are also in for the first time all year.

The Arizona Wildcats dropped from No. 11 to No. 19 after a loss to Providence in the semifinals of the Wooden Legacy, while Wichita State dropped out completely after losses to USC, Alabama, and Iowa in the AdvoCare Invitational.
