Monday March 28th, 2016

Sophomore forwards Marvin Clark and Javon Bess will transfer from Michigan State, the school confirmed in a press release on Monday evening.

Bess was used sparingly this season by coach Tom Izzo, averaging 11 minutes per game. Clark chipped in 4.5 points per game, but was limited due to a knee injury. He was a key contributor in the Big Ten tournament, and the 2015 NCAA tournament.

Bess released the following statement regarding his decision to transfer:

The Spartans were bounced from the 2016 tournament in the first round by No. 15 Middle Tennessee State.
